Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have been writing for several years now. My first professional comic book work happened in 1992. My first novel debuted in 2005. At present, I have over 100 published stories (novels, comic books, short stories, screenplays, etc) and I’m not planning to stop anytime soon. You can see all of my work at www.bobbynash.com
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My most recent novel is called SANDERSON OF METRO, the first book in a new series of novels relaunching THE WRAITH, Frank Dirscherl’s Dread Avenger of the Underworld. Frank and I co-wrote this novel based on Frank’s comic book from several years back. This is a adventure/thriller novel telling the complete origin of The Wraith for the first time. I was inspired to work on this for the simplest of reasons, Frank asked me and it sounded like fun.
SANDERSON OF METRO
A novel featuring The Wraith by Frank Dirscherl and Bobby Nash
Published by Trinity Comics.
Two masters of the superhero pulp fiction world, Frank Dirscherl and Bobby Nash, have come together to tell this tale, the NEVER before told origin of the first Wraith/Paul Sanderson, as only they could.
Witness to the original Sanderson’s early childhood, the emptiness in his soul, his yearning for meaning in his life, his finding it in the wilds of Africa and coming face-to-face with the man who would one day become his greatest nemesis. And finally, how he was endowed with the awesome powers of the Eyes of Judgment, becoming the very first Wraith Dread Avenger of the Underworld.
This action packed, atmospheric thrill ride could only be told now and could only be told by master storytellers like Dirscherl and Nash. An epic, never to be repeated and not to be missed.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Not really. I think I’m fairly normal when it comes to writing. Sit down and write. The hardest thing to do, for me, is get started. Once I’m working, I’m generally okay.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I am influenced by all authors. I have read and met a lot of fantastic authors and I learned how to interact with the public, how to treat your fans, and how to present yourself. I’ve also met a few who taught me what not to do. Same with books. I learn from reading other writers.
What are you working on now?
I’m currently putting the finishing touches on a novel featuring AC Comics character NIGHTVEIL for Pro Se Productions. This tie-in novel features the highly popular mystic super -hero character. I’ve loved this character since the 1980’s and jumped at the chance to write an adventure with her. The title is not 100% nailed down yet, but my working title is “CRISIS AT THE CROSSROADS OF INFINITY”
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I’m not sure about best. Certainly, social media is good for getting your message out, but I don’t see a huge sales bump from it. I use all avenues that are open to me. Social media, live appearances, conventions, podcasts, interviews like this one, and whatever I can do to get my books in front of readers.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Set your goals (both short and long term) and make a plan to reach them. Remember, not all writers have the same goals so we don’t all do things the same way. Decide what is right for you and make your plans accordingly. Then, you work your ass off to meet those goals.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Stop trying to do everything and focus on one thing and you’ll improve. Turned out to be great advice.
What are you reading now?
Two Kinds of Truth by Michael Connelly
What’s next for you as a writer?
Work, work, work. I have deadlines well into 2018 and projects that aren’t yet complete. Lots to do. After Nightveil, I have a Lance Star: Sky Ranger pulp novel to finish for Airship 27 Productions. Then, I’m back to work on the first of four Hunter Houston: Horror Hunter novellas for Falstaff Books. Somewhere in there, I also have to write Snow Trapped, book 4 in the Snow series.
What is your favorite book of all time?
I don’t know if I have one, certainly not one that leaps out at me. I have loved a lot of books for a variety of reasons.
