Since her food allergies emerged in 2002, Michelle Diana Lowe started to see food differently. Her first food intolerance was to cow’s milk, and within fourteen years, it progressed to a dairy, fruit, and nut intolerance. By 2016, Michelle was officially diagnosed with a dairy allergy and oral allergy syndrome.
With positive thinking, Michelle began to change her relationship with food and she wrote Dairy Free and Happy! from her own first-hand experiences. Michelle wants to empower young people and help them see that they are no different from other people their age, they just have unique needs. When applying these coping mechanisms and general tips to everyday life, children and their families will find this book an excellent resource.
