Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
So far, I have written six books. With many more on my ‘to do’ list.
My writing career began when I wrote a book about my trip to Italy. It was written in pencil on construction paper. I was in kindergarten.
In my Creative Writing classes, I received mostly high grades. The poem I wrote about my clarinet… didn’t. I learned that I am a perfectionist when it comes to punctuation, proper grammar and spelling.
Then life got busy and I forgot about writing. When life slowed down, the Writing Bug bit me. I’ve been writing ever since.
I writes what the Lord gives me and publishes with His approval.
When not writing, I spend time with my own hero husband and my delightful Nebelung cat.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
“Inspirations” ~ Well… ‘weird’ stuff was happening to me and when I asked the Lord about it, He would explain. I wrote it all down. Later, it compiled into a book form.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
No. However, I’ve been known to ask for composition books, notebooks and click pens for presents. Is that unusual?
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Debbie Macomber, the Holy Bible, Rachel Hauck and sooo many others!
What are you working on now?
Talk about Scriptures! – A Holy Spirit Bible commentary series
and
REAL Conversations with God
and
a Jesus Symbols adult coloring book
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Good question. Haven’t found the answer to that one, yet.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Patience….
What are you reading now?
Hmmm… besides the Holy Bible? A Joyce Meyer book. And “The Jewish Mourner’s Book of Why” (Research for another book about David and Abigail.)
What is your favorite book of all time?
Besides the Holy Bible? I absolutely adore Rachel Hauck’s books.
