Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have written 5 spiritual books in English, 3 hiking books about Andalucía and a vegetarian cook book. Some of my books have been published in Danish, German and Spanish. I am Danish. I have university degrees in Spanish and English philology. I live in Andalucía, Southern Spain. All my spiritual books are founded on the profound spiritual insight of the Danish visionary and mystic Martinus, who lived from 1890 to 1981. My books are spiritual nourishment for the searching soul who has outlived his / her ability to believe in the religions, but who has a need to know the solution to the mystery of life.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is called “The Downfall of Marriage”. I was inspired to write it because today there are so many couples that cannot make their relationships work. They blame themselves and there really is no need for that, because the reason lies in an inner transformation that takes place as we evolve. A process of balancing is taking place of our masculine and feminine poles, and this means that we become less and less fit for marriage and more and more independent and freedom seeking. We also become more prone to have same-sex relationships. It is a book that reveals a completely new take on relationships and sexuality, and it is the first book to be published in English about the transformation of our sexual poles.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I don´t think so, no.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I have been hugely influenced by Martinus, the Danish visionary and mystic, whose complete work comprises more than 9000 pages and 100 symbols. Martinus´ work is a conucopia of spiritual wisdom and it really should be much better known than it is today. In his work you find logical answers to all the big questions about life, death and the mystery of both.
What are you working on now?
I am going to start working on a new book series with Maria McMahon about spiritual topics such as the meaning of life. reincarnation, life after death, karma, fate, happiness and much more.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Not quite sure yet. I have tried a few with mixed results.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Only write when you cannot help it and you have a lot to say. A writing career is not easy and it can be lonely.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Don´t let the failures of yesterday affect you. You fail in order to learn. Move on and see possibilities and not limitations.
What are you reading now?
I am reading books by Erlendur Haraldsson, the Icelandic researcher into paranormal phenomena. Very interesting.
What’s next for you as a writer?
A new series of short books on spiritual topics.
What is your favorite book of all time?
Livets Bog (The Book of Life) by Martinus, 7 volumes and 3000 pages. Unsurpassed spiritual wisdom.
