Mike Covell was born and raised in Kingston upon Hull, but for the last decade he has studied Hull’s history in depth, lecturing, teaching, and hosting guided walks in his beloved home town.He has appeared on local, national and international television shows, featured on local, national and international radio, and advised and written on, and for, numerous blogs, newspapers, and websites. He has appeared on the Rippercast Podcast, Ripper Radio, and lectured at the 2010 Jack the Ripper Conference and the Ghost Club.He recently appeared in Prime Suspect Jack the Ripper, Most Haunted, as well as advising on the shows, and is currently advising on a number of Hollywood movies.He is also signed up to appear in A Study in Red – The Secret Journal of Jack the Ripper.Mike lives with his wife, three children, a neurotic cat, and a budgie called “Jack”
