I studied History and Dutch Law. For twenty years I was involved in politics, the last ten years as a Mayor. Now, at last I have the time to write, my great passion.
The story about this quest by Paul van den Berg sprouted after my friend Dimitris died of a heart attack. He often told me about his Dutch friend and said he wanted to visit him again. Unfortunatly he never got the chance to do this.
A few months later, Dimitris died. I forgot the name of his friend and because of this, could not search for him. Gradually the idea for this story was created.
