Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I love writing about what I do in my life. I’m very good at synthesizing large quantities of information into small and easy-to-read articles and books.
So far I published 3 books, 2 with traditional publishers and 1 self-published.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
It was inspired by my own cycling experience where I was getting numbness, tinging and discomfort in my perenium and toes every time I cycled which was sometimes taking a long time to recover, so I decided to research the topic. I found out what the problem was, fixed it and I no longer suffer while cycling. I decided to bring this awareness to other cyclists by publishing this book.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I get the best writing done very late at night when the world is asleep. I’m a night owl.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Oh, that would be too many to list, I’d say each book I read left an imprint, so it’s an amalgamation of them all.
What are you working on now?
I’ve a few great books in mind but nothing concrete yet, I’m giving time for the seeds to sprout and rest my brain as I have just published my last book.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I like writing and I trust that if my books provide an excellent knowledge and experience to my readers, the word of mouth will do its thing. Meanwhile instead of trying to be a mediocre and an annoying marketer I’ll spend that time and energy to write new books.
Nobody thinks of asking their accountant to make their meals, yet for some reason an author is expected to do be also a marketer, which at the very least is very silly.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
You get the best writing if you do it because you love the process, not because you want to get rich or become famous.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Eighty percent of success is showing up”
–Woody Allen
What are you reading now?
Jack L. Chalker – Downtiming the Nightside
What’s next for you as a writer?
Discovering whether I have enough creativity in me to write fiction, especially scifi.
What is your favorite book of all time?
Vijnana Bhairava Tantra
