About Saving Sophia : A Modern Faerie Tale
Children shouldn’t have to save the world. But when the adults in their town go mad, what else are young Tim and Julia to do? Some sort of brain rot has afflicted them all. Why else would the adults send hordes of metal monsters to destroy the ancient, magical forest beyond the children’s backyard?
Finding more wonders within its depths than any human shop can sell, Tim and Julia know they have to act fast. Perhaps the flying green ladies can help, or the glowing white mare, or the mammoth powers drumming in the mountains. And what of those special flowers that send their senses swirling beyond their bodies?
With their young hearts set and their brains unrotted, the siblings swear to save the Old Wood. They won’t let their town replace the splendid realm of life with graveyards of gray concrete. They don’t know how they’ll do it, but they find more fey friends rising with them than they’d ever dreamed.
Tim and Julia are about to discover their connection to the earth runs deep, and the world is ripe for change.
