Charleston Lim was born on one of the 7,641 islands of the Philippines. Fortunate to have survived the island’s predators, he managed to get a computer science degree and eventually marry the love of his life. He still lives on the same island with his wife and their perpetual-motion sausage dog.
Having worked various odd jobs, including writing regurgitated nonsense for news publications and peddling life insurance, he has now shifted his focus to writing about made-up worlds and people that not so long ago had only lived in his mind. He is a huge fan of science fiction. Anything involving aliens, quantum computers, and massive black holes gets his blood pumping.
