The book “Beneath all this beauty” combines poetry with photographs, written media and visual media. Poetry that comes out gushing, crying and kicking, laughing and hitting, while touching different issues.
Photographs were chosen that envelope the poems, adding a visual component that enriches the reading experience, and offers the reader an additional experiential dimension.

About the Photographer
Nili Shchory was born in Israel in Haifa. At the age of 12 Nili acquired her first camera and, since then, she has been wandering throughout cities, reflecting and photographing, with great joy. This reflection and wandering has been highly influenced by her education (Ph.d) and profession as an urban planner. She is deeply interested in finding places that are hidden from the eye, within the cities. Nili also enjoys creating a space for discourse between visual media and written media, by finding associations that exist between poetry, literature, and photographs.
