Q. and A.
.-.-.-.-.-.-.
Q.How long have you been lifting weights/working out?
A. I’ve been going to the gym very regularly for about 6-7 years, but before that for several years I was very active and got an Orange Belt in Krav Maga (mixed martial arts).
Q. How much time do you spend in the gym?
A. Honestly, between working 60+ hours a week, raising a 2 year old, having another son on the way (my wife is in nesting mode) and writing/promoting my book, I am lucky if I spend more then 2-3 hours a week. And just so you know, THATS OK!!!
Q. Why should we listen to you?
A. Do what you want, but I have spent countless hours learning for myself what WORKS and WHAT DOESN’T. And in my opinion you should ALWAYS let someone else spend time learning something for you.
Q. What does that even mean?
A. It means: You can spend 10,000 hours to master something, or you can read something that someone spent 10,000 hours to master wrote. Your time is valuable, treat it as such.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Alpha Dadbod: Less Time Doesn’t Have to Mean Lower Standards
Why I wrote this book:
I wrote this book because I found it difficult to cut down from going to the gym 6-9 time a week (yes that is not a typo, I would often do two a days if I could). When I became a father and started working 60-70 hrs a week between my regular job and writing and promoting this book, I needed to condense what I did into less hours. This book was written for father’s who want to look good but feel they have no time!
Enjoy!
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Yeah, totally.
I like to put my feet on my dog when she lays under my desk. She seems to like it to. And loud music, I am a big Audiophile.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
In this writing? None.
But I am a HUGE sci-fi nerd. I love David Brin’s “Uplift” books and B.V. Larson is a total pulp guilty pleasure of mine. Gotta love the classics though, The Foundation Series by Isaac Asimov changed my life.
