This book encompasses two sections. The first section gives concepts in cardiology in a unique way. The tone is set of a conversation between a teacher and a student whereby the teacher guides the student over difficult concepts in cardiology clearing his doubts in the process. As this is more of a discussion with occasional thought provoking questions asked by the bright student, it is quite similar to real life discussions purposely set in this tone for easy understanding and retaining in memory. The second section contains notes on new and important topics in cardiology like TAVR, MitraClip, Strain Imaging, New ESC guidelines etc. These are short descriptions of important topics frequently asked in the Cardiology final examinations.

Author Bio:
I am a young budding cardiologist from Chennai, India. My interests are in hemodynamics of the cardiovascular system and electrophysiological studies. I would like to engage myself in the development of novel devices and instrumentation in cardiac diagnosis and intervention. Besides I am also interested in newer imaging techniques like CT-FFR which may revolutionize the way we do intervention today. My future plan is to develop an external whole chest ECG analyzer system.
