Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a financial services professional who loves to travel and eat great food. This is my first book in a series, Flavour with Benefits: France with my co-author Charley Best.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Flavour with Benefits: France was inspired by a health issue I had as a young girl. I happened to be living in France at the time and the doctors there prescribed artichokes for an inflamed liver instead of pills.
This led me to work on recipes that have great flavour and are healthy. The book features a romantic road trip through France and inspired foods. There is something for everyone. When travel is restricted, our book allows you vicarious travel to France and an ability to try great tasting recipes at home.

What are you working on now?
Flavour with Benefits: Sicily and Calabria which is a love letter to southern Italy and features places many people have never been and new takes on iconic recipes. With 100+ original photos of the south of Italy, this will be a great follow on from Flavour with Benefits: France.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Set a deadline and get organized. Publish your book and don’t wait for perfection.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Get advice from others but the buck stops with you. Make a decision and move on.

What’s next for you as a writer?
Write my second book and work on book signing events and free cooking demos via Zoom and social media.
