Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’ve written nonfiction for decades, from white papers and strategic analyses in the the health care world – later, including four instructional books on portrait painting. Collateral Carnage is my first work of fiction.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Collateral Carnage. Money. Politics. Big Pharma. What could go wrong? Set int he near future, it was inspired by current day scandals involving the VA , its treatment of vets with PTSD, dark money in politics and Congressional malaise.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Most likely not, unless you consider Diet Cokes and blue corn chips unusual companions.

Stephen Konkoly, Brett Battles, Jonathan Maberry, Hugh Howey,Stephen King, the Jason Bourne tales, Jon Krakauer
What are you working on now?
Two things: the sequel, plus another near future American dystopia.

Do not give up. Read, study, take classes. Get professional editing and book cover design.

What’s next for you as a writer?
Continuing to explore themes of contemporary dysfunction, injustice and finding heroes who have the courage to what is right.
