Growing up in the small region of Alsace in France, Dominique discovered his love of food and cookery whilst spending hours helping his Grandmother and Mother prepare the family meals. The small rural town of only 3000 people where Dominique spent his early years sits on the river Rhine bordering Germany.
After being classically French trained as a Chef, Dominique left on his gastronomic culinary journey, stopping by Switzerland, Spain, USA, Indonesia and finally settling in down under: Australia.
