Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a contemporary, clean romance author from Indianapolis, Indiana. I’ve written two books so far: one novella and a full-length novel!
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Fit to Print: A Sweet, Newspaper Romance
I was inspired to write about the dynamics of a newsroom after working as a journalist in college. I thought the gorgeous Kentucky countryside would be the perfect backdrop to these two characters, as well!
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I like to pace while I brainstorm. Getting my blood pumping helps my thoughts to flow easier.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Jane Austen, Madeleine L’Engle, Leonard Cohen, Emily Henry, and so many more!
What are you working on now?
I’m currently working on a new romance novel entitled “Drafting Up Love.” It’s set at a bed and breakfast, and I’m having a ton of fun writing it!

I love StoryOrigin! Of course, I also am partial to interacting with my readers through my website’s blog and emails.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t give up! It’s okay to be a novice. You’ll improve in time.
