About Fit After Forty – My Journey: Part One
You’re male, over forty, with love handles that really leave nothing to love? Your missy ignores your ‘feminine’ curves (or pretends to) doesn’t mean that you should. Ignored mine for the longest time. Until I got a pretty nasty wake-up call, that is.
Had to take action. And, act I did. Find out how I turned my ‘love-to-hate’ handles into ‘no handles’, flattened an abdomen that really no longer presented as one, and regained a measure of physical fitness the missy couldn’t ignore. All in veritably short order.
As a certified exercise physiologist who finally decided to practice what he preached, I have presented science and real-life in this book in a way you can relate to without making it come off as a fitness manual.
So, flip this, open up, and dive right in. Follow me, as I journeyed to fitness- after forty.

So, here’s the thing. Not big on bios.
I’d rather not be profiled my first time out. You know, judge my work based on intrinsic merits and all.
Posted a few snippets of larger books on writing.com as a registered author many years ago. Got pretty good reviews too. Except, I never got to finish any of them. Shucks!
This though, was really personal. Had to see it through.
As a qualified exercise physiologist, with some ‘euphoric’ years teaching the subject to undergrads, I dare say I have the ‘chops’ to present the material in my book. But don’t take my word for it. You can vet all the ‘science stuff’.
Overall, I’m just your regular guy next door on this here planet of ours. Had an experience I felt the need to share (a bona fide ‘itch’), a passion for writing and yes, the required subject matter knowledge to put out this short – but packed – read.
This would have to do for a ‘bio’ (if it even qualifies). For now, anyway.
