The Art and Science of Real Estate Negotiation is the third title in The Real Estate Investor Manuals series.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Inspiration for The Art and Science of Real Estate Negotiation comes from my 20-year experience in real estate. Many books on negotiation exist but few deal with real estate-specific negotiation.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Doesn’t every writer?
Mornings and sometime late evenings are my best times to write.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Too many to mention here but I love William Zinser books. I read history, novels, and sometimes how to books.
What are you working on now?
I’m starting the 4th book in The Real Estate Investor Manuals series in mid-December. This one is about the hot topic of affordable housing.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I meld methods. My mailing list comes first, then various promo sites etc.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Keep writing.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Put a solid foundation in place.
What are you reading now?
Women with Big Eyes by Angeles Mastretta.
Actually, I’m reading the Spanish original.
What’s next for you as a writer?
For now it is continuing with the series. Then I aim to write some fiction. Stay tuned.
What is your favorite book of all time?
One only. Perfume by Patrick Susskind.
