Colleen MacFarlane began her writing in historical fiction. A genealogy enthusiast, her first book chronicles the life of her 2nd great aunt who immigrated to America in 1866. Her second book if for young children, Life Lessons from Lucy the Schnauzer. Her 3rd, Ivy and Audie, is about epilepsy. Herself diagnosed as an adult, her dog is her alert dog. Colleen holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology and an MBA in Personal Financial Counseling. She is a native of Minneapolis, and has retired to North Carolina.
