I have written two published novels.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Not In This Lifetime: A 007 Adventure.
Watching spy movies as a child inspired this book.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
No.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
James Patterson, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Dean Koontz, and Sidney Sheldon to name a few.
Also, a manuscript I am editing Welcome To The C.I.A. by Jerome Andrew Christian (not yet publishing), which is one of the funniest novel [manuscripts] I have ever read. That takes real talent.
What are you working on now?
“The Rifle”, and “Major Mumba, I Presume?”
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Unfortunately, I do not have one.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
If you start out to write a novel, do not get frustrated (or lazy) and settle for writing a novelette, novella, or short story. Be able to refer to yourself as a true novelist, because there is no such thing as a novelette-ist, novella-ist, or a short story-ist.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Keep adverbs out of fiction writing …please.
What are you reading now?
The Fifth Horseman by James Patterson.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Promotion, then more writing.
What is your favorite book of all time?
Il Principe by Niccolo di Bernardo dei Machiavelli.
