About Keifer’s Story: Vol. 1: The Problem with Getting Liz by Anna Smith:
16 year old Keifer McDaniel doesn’t have anything. He doesn’t have a car, a job, or even a room of his own. But there’s one thing that he wants and he’s determined to get it: rich, beautiful, cultured Liz-May Piedmont. After all, how hard could it be? Sure, an initial meeting might be hard to come by. He sure as hell wouldn’t ever run into her at her family’s prestigious country club or casually bump into her at her exclusive all-girls private school. But he’d get around all of that…somehow. Those were just a few obstacles in his way. He still had to overcome one major one: her longtime boyfriend. But Keifer never minded a bit of competition and he was going to use an internal link to the Piedmont family along with everything he’d been taught by his older brother to snag his prize. It shouldn’t be difficult. All he had to do was gain the trust of her sister, eliminate her boyfriend, and somehow convince her parents that he was worthy of their precious daughter. And if all of this helped him achieve his ultimate summer goal, what’s the worst that could happen?Meanwhile, 16 year old Liz-May Piedmont seemed to have it all: she lived in a luxurious mansion with its sprawling grounds, a designer wardrobe, her own car, and inherited blue blood beauty. What more could a young girl want? But even with all this, she felt that something was missing. Something she couldn’t quite put a finger on until the day she met Keifer McDaniel. What was it about this particular boy? She knew she’d never get her parents’ approval though she was willing to risk their wrath just for a chance to be with him as soon as she figured out how to handle her boyfriend. Will Keifer get Liz and will it be worth it?
