A picture of life in and around the Mystee forest as viewed by an variety of talking animals, strange characters, and the author’s twisted perception of reality often involving lasers and aluminum foil.
Started writing as therapy to beat depression when my wife had cancer in 2004. She survived. I just started writing short stories with characters worse off than I was so I could laugh at my misfortune. At the time I never thought it would turn into a book. Imagine a cross between Aesop’s Fables and the Brothers Grimm. Some of my proceeds now go to cancer research. Born in Chicago, for whatever that is worth. Aspiring musician.
