Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m working on a few at the moment but I’ve only published one so far.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Sailor’s Tiller. I went on a very, very embarrassing date. My friends still bring up the story and tell me they laugh as they tell their friends. I figured I may as well share the story with more people since it seems to be brightening so many people’s days. The embarrassing date is in my novella but the rest is fiction.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I enjoy writing at busy cafes. I suppose that isn’t unusual but I get a small kick writing dirty scenes knowing that no one else knows what I’m doing.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I have always loved reading. Growing up, I would read books from my brother’s, mom’s and dad’s bookshelves. I’ll read any genre but I think my favorite books have always been easy reads that transport me to fun, happy times in stunning surroundings
What are you working on now?
I’m working on another novella about life and dating while living in the alway beautiful hawaiian islands
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?

Do you have any advice for new authors?

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Be kind. It’s important in all aspects of life, especially when you are dealing with yourself.
What are you reading now?
Emma. Austen always feels like an indulgence.
What’s next for you as a writer?
To continue to learn how to describe what I’m thinking and to learn how to market so that I can spend more time writing.
What is your favorite book of all time?
