About Once a Child:
As many get older, some will have memories that fade. For some generations, it was before digital and often photographs were the story. The recollection was not always concise with feelings undescribed.
The free verse musings of this work trigger the memory of the writer. Happy times and good years are remembered through pen to paper. With humor and wit through seasonal timeframes, the writer rapidly launches forward exhibiting the wonderful and exciting world of the child some sixty years ago. May you be inspired to follow the path and encourage a parent or grandparent to do the same, or better yet, to write at their side.
