About RED SKIES by Leonard Di Gregorio:
A treasure-laden galleon sinks in 1715 off the coast of Honduras. Three hundred years later, casual scuba divers Holly and Cas find a small trunk containing what looks like a treasure map. Back home in Marblehead, they ask their friend Shaun to help them interpret the map. And, then they are off to find the treasure while facing dangers never imagined both from the sea and from nefarious characters. Will they survive their quest? Is the treasure worth the dangers?
This exciting and meticulously researched novel launches a series that follows each treasure hunter and the people they meet along the way including beach bums, international terrorists, and a legendary Israeli intelligence agent. Red Skies is a great beach read. For an added bonus, the author includes recipes of coastal favorites his characters enjoy from New England, the Gold Coast of Florida, and throughout the Caribbean.

Author Bio:
Leonard Di Gregorio used his degree from Farmingdale State College as a launch pad for an exciting 43-year career in the international airline industry where he travelled the world. He uses his travel experiences* to create realistic overseas settings in his novels, which begin with his “Red” series. After retiring from the airlines, but not from travel, he moved to North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where he lives with his wife, Barbara, and their dog, Bailey. Their two daughters and grandchildren live in New York.
Di Gregorio enjoys writing, reading, cooking, golfing, and the beach. He particularly enjoys “beach reads” and creates fast paced novels, easy to tuck into a beach bag, that are fun to read on a lazy afternoon by the pool or on the sand – or on a plane.
