Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’ve written four books and am a winner of the 2021 GEVA Theater 2 Pages/2 Voices playwriting competition. I’ve also won writing contests in The Hartford Courant, Cracked.com, Caption.me, and CartoonCollections.com.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
BE HAPPY, STUPID is a funny self-help book about how to stop making yourself miserable and be happy. It was inspired by my success overcoming years of self-doubt, depression, and negative thinking.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write at the same coffee shop every day.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Kurt Vonnegut, Rod Serling, Joseph Heller.
What are you working on now?
PREVENTION FORCE is a funny speculative novel about a police force in the year 2121 that is nonviolent and nonpunitive. It was inspired by current events.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Facebook groups has been a good way to connect with other writers.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write for the love of it, not money or fame, because there won’t be any.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Only keep the good stuff.
