Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
As an author, illustrator, narrator, and publisher, I have published – both independently and collaboratively – over one-hundred titles ranging from general fiction to satire to dark comedy alike.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book entitled “A Guide to Exploring Abandoned Churches” was inspired directly from elements of horror-related occult/mystery, as well as the supernatural. The publication is an adaptation taken from various online forums, message boards, and compilations of threads.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
My writing habits are not so much “unusual” per se, though they can at most times be unorganized and/or messy, until being properly refined within its production stage of publication.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
A few noteworthy authors that come to mind as direct forms of inspiration are, but not limited to, Ayn Rand, Aldous Huxley, and Mark Twain.
What are you working on now?
Currently, I am beginning production on a series of romantic-comedies with elements of satire. They are, in many ways, pseudo-sequels to my 2017 romantic memoir entitled “Take Your Ex Out For a Steak Dinner.”
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Often times, I have found out that the best methods to promote my books range from simple word of mouth to both online and physical advertisement strategies, such as ad space, flyers, posters, and callbacks.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Start. As plain, simple, and cliche as it invariably sounds, not producing content through self-deprecation, self-consciousness or any perceivable emotion that would otherwise hinder you from getting started, practice is what will allow you to become further comfortable with one’s own distinct writing style.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Start. Not only because you can, but because you’ll regret not doing so.”
What are you reading now?
I am currently re-reading Mark Twain’s “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn,” further attempting to grasp its satirical elements, as well as making notes of incorporation into possible future projects.
What’s next for you as a writer?
As a writer, my next step is further PR and publicity. Alongside continuing writing as a whole, I would like to expand my publishing network to further authors and artists alike.
What is your favorite book of all time?
My favorite book of all time is a cross between Aldous Huxley’s “Brave New World” and F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby.”
