Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Well, right now one. But I am already working on book 2 in the series… so hang in there.
In the daytime, I am a Graphic Designer working with clients around the world making their design dreams come to life. My biggest dream is to be able to write from sunrise to sunset. I have so many crazy worlds running around in my mind that I can’t wait to share with geek readers like me.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Just take a deep breath- mermaids.
My inspiration came from the frustration of the mermaid worlds portrayed today in novels. I wanted to read more erotic and less teen based novels but couldn’t find the right “mix” between plot and too much “sex”. So I decided to challenge myself to write something I could enjoy reading. hopefully, others will enjoy it.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Yes, OF COURSE!
1) M&M’s are a must!
2) Good music – Dennis Lloyd – Two Feet – Daft Punk – Bishop Briggs… and many more.
3) When I get writer’s block I usually go online in Call Of Duty Multiplayer in my Sony PlayStation. ( OH and I am good… really good)
4) Reading helps me get in the mood as well. (not necessarily erotica) for example six of crows by Leigh Bardugo is a Masterpiece, also Sarah J. Maas novels are my go-to worlds.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Leigh Bardugo
Sarah J. Maas
J. R. R. Tolkien
George R. R. Martin
J. K. Rowling
Lewis Carroll
The List is long… Many more.
What are you working on now?
Book 2 in Mermaids – JUST INHALE & EXHALE
DEEPLY.
The novel takes a darker turn, detailed with history and conflicts.
Still focusing on Alice’s relationships and her evolution which is unstoppable.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Since I am working full time as a freelance Designer, unfortunately, I haven’t had much time to promote my book as much as I would have loved to. So far Amazon KDP program is my main source. I did manage to reach #2 in the Free Paranormal erotic romance category in less than 12 hours which is thrilling.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Yes just keep writing… (lame I know) but even when you feel stuck, just sit your butt down and write. The “MUSE” comes with your sitting down. I had a year break… till I made myself sit and finish it. Determination is the key.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Read a lot while writing, it opens your mind to be creative. The more I read the more I am inspired to create.
What are you reading now?
Crooked Kingdom
(Six of Crows #2)
by Leigh Bardugo
What’s next for you as a writer?
Just to enjoy sharing my worlds with you the reader. I wish this could become my day job. But for now just knowing others are enjoying my worlds is good enough.
Even if it takes me a while to finish my novels… knowing that someone is waiting to read them makes me smile. My friends are super supportive and keep asking for book 2, so I guess I am on the right path 🙂
What is your favorite book of all time?
No, this question isn’t fair! it’s like asking what do you like more, pizza or chocolate. An unanswerable question.
