About The Jacobson Joy Inventory: A New Look at Measuring Depression
Why are depression screenings so depressing? They don’t have to be. This book encourages clinicians to find more positive ways to ask questions about a persons’ state of depression. This book will be free from December 20th until the 24th. This book uses humor as a way to cope with depression. Jacobson presents new approaches to measuring depression in a positive way and as potential great alternatives to the traditional PHQ-9. While these approaches are not yet evidence based, once they are tested it is hoped that they will become future alternatives to current measures. Not only is this new approach interesting and positive, it’s a fun to read too!
