Author Bio:
Lloyd is a Chartered Financial Adviser based in Stratford-upon-Avon, UK, where he lives with his wife Emily, daughter Alice and cockapoo Florence. He is on the panel of Financial Advisers giving free guidance to both current and veterans of the UK Armed Forces, via their charity Forces MoneyPlan.
Lloyd enjoys spending his spare time with his family, writing, loves to travel and is a keen athlete having competed in boxing, cycle racing, triathlon and ultra-distance running events – his longest continual run to date being 70 miles (110km), raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Lloyd’s interest in the Second World War came from his Granddad. Although he spoke little about the war, what he did share piqued Lloyd’s interest. This was cemented when he took a trip to Monte Cassino to visit one of the places his Grandad had fought. The trip brought home the brutality and hostile conditions of the war. Lloyd began reading extensively on the subject, with a particular interest in the behind enemy lines antics of various units, including the Special Air Service.
