Author Bio:
Elena Stewart is a fantasy artist and author. Fueled by her experiencesin northern Scotland, she writes, paints, and brings vibrant charactersto life through her work. Her art begins on a drawing board withgraphite, chalk, or ink, followed by extensive digital revision, but her writing starts wherever the idea finds her.
Stewart has spentten unforgettable years in the Shetland Islands where the northernlights soar high above the endless hills, as gentle as the gauze veils,as fierce as dragon fires. Where the winds are so relentless, that therare silence is deathening, pierced only with the cries of counlessbirds, their calls–more common than human speech. There, between theNorth Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, many of her characters found their way into the world, their stories written down, their faces reflected uponthe canvas, inspired by the legends and tales, Norse mythology and, most of all, by the people around her.
