Author Bio:
My name is Lisamarie Thomas. I am 26 years old. Professionally, I am an author, entrepreneur, graphic designer, and musician. I am also a mother to 2 beautiful children and engaged to be married. I was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, but have lived in South Georgia all of my life.
I am the author of the debut novel, Turned Out.
It is a personal memoir of my life and my testimony of survival.
My follow-up novel, When GOD Let Me Speak is a further exploration into learning myself and attempting to understand my circumstances and relationships while trying to find my place in the world.
I wrote these books to speak to myself first, so that I could understand the things that were going wrong in my life and how to fix these issues. I wanted to tell these stories from the perspective of a regular person just trying to find their way. Then, I wanted to reach out to other women going through some of these troubles and further to a race of people that live in a world that doesn’t truly understand them.
My goal is that anyone reading one of my novels can find something that they can take into their lives and make them just a little better!
