Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m a Motivational Speaker, Mindset Coach and the Founder of The Fulfilled Women. My mission is to help women become unstoppable in achieving their dreams. I’d love to see thousands of women become fearless and courageous in pursuing their dream lives.
I’ve written 2 books so far. The first one is entitled “7 Things Every Wife Should Know”. It’s a marriage book for newly weds and almost weds. The second book I wrote was about my journey with Post Partum Depression and how I was able to get back on my feet after the storm. Its title is From Depressed to Determined. 6 Step Guide to Thrive and Have Personal Success.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My 2nd book is entitled From Depressed to Determined. I wrote this because I wanted to share my story. I wanted to inspire other moms to come out of their shell and realize that there is a way out and there is more to life if we choose to open ourselves to possibilities. It was a struggle writing this book because I was a first time mom with a clingy 1 yr old. So all the time I had was during my daughter’s nap time. I had the entire book written for 2 weeks while my daughter was asleep!
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Not really. But when I write, I just have to get into the zone. I need to focus.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Some of my favorite authors are Elizabeth George and Julie Ann Barnhill.
What are you working on now?
I’m planning on writing a new book but not very soon.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Since I am a speaker, I get to promote my book to my audience all the time. Also blogging is a way to promote the book.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
It’s ok to get inspiration from other authors but make sure that you don’t lose your voice. Also, just keep writing so you can hone your skills.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Just do it.
