Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Throughout my life, I have always enjoyed writing fiction, and have had many novels in the works always. I have written many technical manuals, and technical evaluations for my main career. Now that I am at retirement age, I am enjoying completing the novels I started. so far, I have published 2 novels.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My most recent book is Angels’ Heart. I was inspired to write this by my grandmother and also someone I met in the past.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Yes. You will find that I write a novel very differently than anyone else. When you read “Angels’ Eyes” you will see how intertwined the themes are and how they come together in the end.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
1984, Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens). I think I read everything that Samuel Clemens wrote, including “Christian Science.” I learned a lot about humor in that book, which is hard to find on any list of books. If you find it, read it!
What are you working on now?
Currently, I am working on “Angels’ Heart.” What I have so far is published, and you will find it very exciting how this one ends.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I haven’t decided on a favorite promotion yet.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Keep writing and keep proof reading. Modern technology gives us some very effective tools like cut and paste. I use the “Out Of Milk” phone app. It is a shopping list, but it has a section for “to do” lists. I use that to jot down ideas as soon as I get them.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Follow your heart. My grandmother told me this,as well as several girls that I have dated.
What are you reading now?
Angels’ Heart again.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I will be continuing the Angels’ series for quite a while.
What is your favorite book of all time?
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn has got to be my all time favorite. It taught me how to take a literary journey, and part of that journey can be relationships.
