A fallen warrior finds himself exiled and shamed, but he has been enlightened. Together with a small band, he must tear down everything his kind holds dear, reshape his people – or see them utterly destroyed.
When Seluban chooses to save his fleet instead of seeing them destroyed, he knows he’s committed heresy, but even though it will cost him his mate, son, and daughter, he cannot let go of his revelation. A cunning enemy is coming for his people, and if they are to be stopped, Seluban must somehow escape Coward’s Forge, rally a disgraced band of rebels, and launch a rebellion to save his people from themselves – before their enemy destroys everything he loves.

Author Bio:
Ben Berwick was born in the 1980s and moulded by the 1990s. A lover of all things Nintendo, Ben has proudly introduced his daughter to the wonders of Pokemon and Super Mario!
Ben grew up in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, surviving school and working in office environments for a number of years, whilst dabbling with fan fiction. Over the years he has moved to Essex, where he lives with his wife and daughter, and ditched the office for retail sales, something he is more naturally suited for. Whilst doing this, Ben’s love of sci-fi has never waned – Star Trek, Star Wars and Doctor Who are big influences, whilst on the literary front, David Weber’s Honorverse and the works of Peter F Hamilton have shaped how he approaches writing.
Alongside sci-fi, Ben has a keen enjoyment of Formula 1 motor racing, and likes to mention he lived in the same town as Lewis Hamilton (though he never met Lewis). Ben is an avid Liverpool FC fan, for his sins.
