Someone’s always watching.
JR Gardner could feel that something bad was about to happen. He was plagued by a reoccurring nightmare—a maggot-infested monster that stalked him though dark streets at night, only to issue a grave and ominous warning: It’s over.
Those words stuck with JR on the night that he found himself burying a body. He was going to do anything to keep from getting caught, even if it meant relying on his good-for-nothing wife, Hannah, to help him cover his tracks. Despite Hannah’s bad habit of idiotic mistakes, JR starts to believe that everything is going to be okay—better, even, than it had been before. What JR didn’t know was that he wasn’t the only one in the woods that night.
