Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m a musician and photographer by profession. Growing up I was your standard bookworm kid. Believe it or not, I wanted to be a librarian when I grew up.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Henry King, The Rise of Empires. I always wanted to author a spy novel. We have right now a politically charged world, with daunting global environmental issues. I wanted to create a hero that is witty and charming. Music, also is a main component of my new novel. I try to create a vivid scenes while incorporating classical music to define a specific mood in my writing.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Peanuts, a bag of peanuts makes my brain work more efficiently.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
Ernest Miller Hemingway, A Clean, Well-Lighted Place. The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame.The Fall by Albert Camus. To name a few authors and their works that had greatly influenced me.

What are you working on now?
I am working now on my new book. Agent Aqil, A Prelude to a Kill. Agent Aqil Adebowale is an agent and a close friend of Henry King. Born and raised in the great nation of Africa. He brings a new fire in the world of espionage fiction.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Follow your heart, your words will guide your way.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Never give up.
