What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Flowers From Holland. I wanted to write about a complex female who lets all her emotions dictate her behavior. Then explore how those actions clash with the outside world.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I like the process to happen organically. I start with an idea and see where it takes me once my fingers hit the keys.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I take inspiration from books as well as movies. I like great storytelling in all its forms. Sometimes when I just can’t get the words out, I’ll watch a movie for inspiration. I also always keep a book in my car. So when I waiting for my kids or in a waiting room, I always have something to read.
What are you working on now?
I’m working on another romance/thriller. I like to combine the two genres.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Just keep writing and don’t give up!

What is your favorite book of all time?
My favorite book is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. I enjoyed it as a child but as an adult, going back to read it, gives it new meaning. I recommend it to all adults.
