Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I was born in Ashville, Alabama, and I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Alabama Agricultural &Mechanical University (AAMU). I’m a retired Program Manager from the Department of Defense and I live in Georgia with my husband. We have no pets. I have written a three book series. titled ‘Who would have thought’.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
On February 21, 2024, I published ‘Why Now’, the third and last book in my series ‘Who would have thought’. The last book took about 6 months to write. Each book in the series can be read independently. ‘Why Now’ is a gripping tale of resilience, self-discovery, and the relentless pursuit of the truth about the main character Alphonso. The late Stuart Woods, a renowned best-selling author and my biggest author fan was the source of my inspiration for writing.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Before I start writing, I come up with a story and research anything that is not entirely familiar to me in my story, even though it is fiction. I want the readers to feel and be a part of the story. I write a synopsis, and next, I put together the outline for the entire story, which becomes my chapters. I set aside at least three times a week for writing.
