Urgently, Ukrainian forces attempted to retreat to the right bank.
In a daring move to assist his comrades in arms and enable their escape from the encirclement, a fearless young Lieutenant, the commander of a tank company, risked his life to secure an exit for a large Ukrainian military convoy over the Antonovsky Bridge. Engaging the enemy in battle, he etched his name into history as a hero, defending his country.
