About Being and Becoming: A New Perspective on Waiting to Align with Your Purpose and Identity

CHANGE YOUR MIND ABOUT WAITING

Maybe patience is not one of your virtues or perhaps waiting has just been too long and difficult. Whatever the case, you are not alone.

Heightened desires for absolution from discomfort, inconvenience, and uncertainty, coupled with thrusts for instant gratification and a growing obsession with becoming, have caused many of us to develop a distaste for waiting. Many of us are trying, at all costs, to evade it. In the process, we are often dissociating ourselves from God’s plan for our lives.

If you are yearning to align with purpose and assume your God-given identity but require a new perspective on processing and waiting, this book is for you.

In Being and Becoming, Stephania sets out to deconstruct the often-erroneous view we have of waiting and challenges readers to wait with understanding and purpose. Drawing on philosophy, theology, and her own experiences, she explores the concepts of being and becoming while underscoring the inevitability and necessity of the four-letter verb.

Prepare to change your mind about waiting as Stephania:

• Gives insights into the non-discriminatory nature of waiting (even divinity waits).
• Shares what God may want for you and from you in your season of waiting.
• Provides practical tips on how to wait as you strive to assume your God-given identity.

Learn More About The Author

Stephania said “yes” to Jesus in her parents’ living room at the tender age of eight. This single act of
surrender took her on an incredible journey of self-discovery, allowing her to probe the depth of her
identity in Christ and nurture her God-given abilities.
Travelling to several countries across three (3) continents and the Caribbean and earning a Master’s
degree in International Affairs from one of the most prestigious tertiary institutions in France, Stephania
has not only acquired a wealth of technical expertise but has also experienced the highs and lows, need
and abundance, fear and tranquility, solitude and fellowship, fulfilment and despair that punctuate the
human experience.
With a proclivity for writing and exhorting, Stephania pulls on her experience as a young Christian in
waiting to provide important insights into the concepts of being and becoming and offers useful tips on
how to wait when a season requires it.
