What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Story de Pedro O’Brien.
It’s inspired by modern day labor exploitation, both foreign and domestic and all the powerful groups that profit and evolve the practice….but it’s humorous I swear.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Nahh. Don’t over think it. You don’t have to be an overt weirdo to be a creative. Being a covert weirdo is far more effective. Helps you blend in and get more material.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
My writing style, for better or worse, isn’t all that influenced by other authors. I don’t seek to be like or not like any other writer. I just do it because if I don’t the world feels stale.
But I’m quite influenced spiritually by philosophy books.
What are you working on now?
The next novella of The Story de Pedro O’Brien along with 2 full novels based in the same world.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
http://www.philosophiesdead.com/
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Avoid Net Galley for beta reviews. They trashed the ARC I gave out to get feedback on my final version. Not fair.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Don’t drink Tequila. Definitely don’t drink it alone.
What are you reading now?
The Orphan Master’s son
What’s next for you as a writer?
Obviously fame and glory.
