About Breaking
The awakening has begun and the world is changing for the sole survivors of the mass coronal ejection. It’s been a year since Sara, Melody, Trevor, and Spencer started developing supernatural powers compelling them to pick a side in the ever-growing battle between angels and demons. Now all four of them cultivate their awakening as Michael, the angel of death, races against time to stop the breaking of the seals of the Apocalypse. No one knows what is causing the four horsemen to invade Earth, but they must all put their differences aside and join forces once again, to prevent the breaking of the world that they know so well. Will they succeed, or will their efforts only destroy their souls in the process? Tensions rise in the high-stakes thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
It’s been one year since Sara, Melody, Trevor, and Spencer survived a plane crash and found themselves awakened to supernatural powers. Plunge into the timeless battle between angels and demons, and the humans barely escape Purgatory with their sanity still intact.
As the Awakening continues to train under the watchful eyes of arc angels Caleb and Gabriel, they find nothing but continuous surprises in the development of the human’s powers. Mel continues to distance herself as her dreams become waking terror. Spencer now heals without effort as Caleb and Sara train her powers not knowing what to expect. Then there is Trevor, who defies the rules of the supernatural world in everything he does. Is he a soul sent from Heaven to bring redemption to the world or a devil to attain its demise?
Michael, the true angel of death, has spent the year racing against time to stop the breaking of the seals of the apocalypse. One by one, Michael tracks down his horsemen brothers to stop the end of the world. The problem? With every battle, his soul continues to be split by Death, the shattered soul of a lost god from the beginning of existence. Every time Michael gives into Death, the more his soul disintegrates under his reign of terror. The worst part is that Michael knows that every decent is fueling the destruction of Melody, one of the Awakened he once saved. Mel’s connection to Michael through her supernatural powers of prophetic dreams continuously drowns her in his madness fueling his annihilation.
As the apocalypse progresses, the groups must combine forces again and work together to save humanity from premature destruction. Will they survive, or is it too late to save the corrupted world we know all too well?

Awakening was written as a literary thriller for women who have felt the cold isolation of loneliness, for artists who hope to save a warry soul with every brushstroke across the canvas, and for the lonely perfectionist that struggles with losing control of their surroundings. This story is geared to awaken even the most broken souls into finding their place in this cosmic universe. Lastly, this story is written for everyone tired of the same old angels versus demons trope.
