Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Hello, I’m The British Bombshell and I’ve been a writer for my entire life. I started out with poetry and research papers and have moved on to writing books to assist others with the issues that arise in the world. I’ve written two books so far but plan to write at least 7 in total! I have attained multiple degrees in my life from Bachelor degrees in Psychology, Accounting, Science of Commerce, and a Masters degree in Education. As well as attaining National Accreditation as a Certified Personal Trainer and Virtual Coaching Specialist.
I’m an entrepreneur who has been through a lot in my past and decided that writing is one way to get my truth out and help others recognize theirs along the way!! My style of writing may be a bit raw and openly honest at times but I believe that you have to be open and honest with yourself and others in order for growth to happen. I know that there is no way I could ask others to take her advice if I’m not showing them genuine experiences that I’ve been through. I believe that my books can truly assist people with flourishing in their lives and attaining true peace and happiness.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is called “How to get over your ex and rebuild your life”. I decided to write it because I’ve seen so many people get stuck after a relationship ends without knowing how to move forward and I wanted to provide advice and guidance to them. I also wanted to share a lot of life lessons that can be utilized to build yourself back under any circumstances.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I’m just raw and open with my writing style. I allow my vulnerabilities to show and don’t care about judgment from others!! I’m all about helping and assisting others to find their best selves.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
My father is an author and writes spiritual books so they’re pretty influential but honestly, everyday people influence me to write.
What are you working on now?
I’m working on my 3rd book which will be a comparison between men and women.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Social media and word of mouth have been my best promotional tools although I’ve tried many other ways. Also, Amazon kdp select has been pretty great.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write from your heart, write what you love, and never give up!! You just need the right people to see it and take it on and you’re Golden!!
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Knock on every door and eventually someone will answer!!!”
What are you reading now?
Nothing at the moment besides my own writing when editing and revising.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I enter a writing contest where I’ve been testing my creative juices and I’m working on book 3!
What is your favorite book of all time?
Well I’d have to say my second book, “How to get over your ex and rebuild your life!” The advice in there is so great!! Although, my first is really good too and gives it a run for it’s money!!
