About COLLAPSE
The extraordinary story of a school collapsing into a salt mine.
A classroom is meant to be the safest place to be. But in the sleepy village of Perlough, beneath the school, a six-hundred foot pit has opened up.
As the collapse accelerates, plucky pupil Ruth Duffy, semi-retired teacher Daphne Donaghy and heroic janitor Finbar Adams race for survival.
Written in the form of a failed documentary, Collapse is a disaster-thriller like no other.

Erwan Atcheson is a writer of children’s and adult’s fiction. His stories can be whimsical, science-fictional, fantastical, satirical, even sometimes believable, but never lack for humour. Like most authors he’s had a lot of different jobs, including professional glove puppeteer, snooker room attendant, observatory tour guide, and (for ten years) a scientist. He lives happily in his family home in Belfast, where animals outnumber humans three to one.
