About FINDING CRISTINA: TREASURES ON EARTH
It is 1933. Cristina and her family live on a farm, in the southernmost state of Brazil—the land of the proud Gaúchos. Early in 1929 they sold their property in New York, converted the money to gold, and moved to Brazil, and so avoiding the Wall Street Crash. Their bucolic farm life is suddenly disturbed by inexplicable accidents befalling Cristina and her loved ones; they become more dangerous with time, threatening their lives. Furthermore, some connections of the past return to cause even more trouble. When Cristina takes a last-minute airplane trip to Rio de Janeiro, she disappears and Robert goes in search of her. Meanwhile, on the farm, her son and his cousin, Annie, don’t return from their secret excursion in search of a Templar treasure.

Emilia Rosa spent her childhood in Rio de Janeiro. She has always been fascinated with words and studied French, Spanish and Italian. Rosa worked in international trade shows in a multilingual capacity, and as a fashion model in Brazil, Italy, and the US. Before turning to fiction, she had poetry published, and won a library poetry contest. Her love of history and knowledge of Rio de Janeiro, decided the timeframe and setting of her first novel, FINDING CRISTINA, which was taken to the sequel. The third sequel will take readers to the south of Brazil, where her family is from.
