Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I was born in Durban, South Africa. My education has taken me around South Africa. I fell in love with books at a young age. I have written well over 5 books.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is titled ‘Nightmare Destinations’ and it features six tales of horror. The book was inspired by my love for short stories and the horror genre.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I keep a pen and pencil near my bed for those times when I have to jot down that idea that often leads me to my next book or tale.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Stephen King, W. Somerset Maugham and Shakespeare have influenced me and the books of Ayn Rand as well. My favorite books include ‘The Stand’ and ‘The Dark Tower Series’ both by Stephen King.
What are you working on now?
At present I am working on a new collection of short stories.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I find that social media sites like Twitter and Facebook work well and of course Pretty-Hot.com
Do you have any advice for new authors?
If it is your intention to write a story or write a book then get busy. That book will not write itself.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
‘Read a lot and write a lot’ by Stephen King.
What are you reading now?
At present I am reading ‘The Sandman’ graphic novel.
What’s next for you as a writer?
My next step is to develop some of my writings into a series for television.
What is your favorite book of all time?
‘The Stand’ by Stephen King. It’s a classic.
