About ILLICIT AFFAIRS
‘A FIERCE MAN CAN HANDLE A FIERCE WOMAN. A FRAGILE MAN WILL SAY SHE HAS AN ATTITUDE.’
Ava Archer had everything a woman could ever desire.
She was beautiful, rich, sociable, and free to do whatever she wanted between the sheets. Her job was easier than breathing when she worked as an assistant for her old man. Ava got everything she wanted and was used to getting her own way…
Until she met Nathaniel Brooks.
Order and control were all that Nate knew when he was a managing partner of the prestigious law firm Archer and Brooks. When his business partner takes ill, he must leave his comfortable Manhattan branch and tend to the firm in London. He didn’t foresee this change being problematic but then again…
He hadn’t yet met his fiery and tenacious assistant, Ava Archer.
In a battle for dominance, Ms. Archer would need to fall in line if she were to work under Mr. Brooks but there was just one problem: not all women are submissive.
When the clock strikes five, both would soon realise the difficulty in keeping things business as usual behind office doors…
Will Nate be able to maintain control over his heart?
Will Ava lose everything when she learns that for a lawyer, deception is their art?

Bio:
From a young age, I adored creative writing and it was always something my mother encouraged me to do. I remember sitting in my room typing up stories on a desktop, that I wouldn’t be surprised, was from the 90s by how slow it ran!
Growing up, I only ever read romance and I read absolutely everything I could get my hands on.
Naturally, of course, life got in the way and writing was something I never thought of as a career and more of a hobby. I never wrote again until late 2019 where I started writing stories on Wattpad, a website that allows aspiring writers to publish their work and generate social community. It was through Wattpad, Twitter and Instagram that I met lots of wonderful people in the writing community that encouraged me to get my work out there and self-publish. When I had so many people telling me how much they loved my writing, it gave me a surge of motivation to turn something I love into my career.
When the COVID pandemic put the UK into lockdown in March 2020, I had so much time to write and found it addictive, cramming in bits of writing anytime of the day or night. However, it wasn’t until December 2020 that I started to get serious about self-publishing and did lots of research before planning out Illicit Affairs. It took me four months to complete my first draft and is by far the funnest thing I’ve ever written!
I’m so grateful for all of the support my friends, family and fanbase have given me so far. It’s because of them that I managed to stay motivated during the hardest years of my life with the pandemic happening around me. I can’t wait for everyone to read Illicit Affairs and look forward to chatting with them on my socials!
