Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I was first published in college (a short article), and I’ve had audiobooks published; one is still available (Sugar Time). I wrote children’s stories also, including Sammy’s Beautiful Tail (about an anole; they can lose their tails to escape). And stories about dogs, cats, and sabertooth tigers. My novels include Taboo Tech, Strike Three, Sugar Time, Hidebound, Cold New Planet, and Detour Trail. The Doorway and Other Stories is a collection of short stories (reprints).
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Taboo Tech. i love writing about exploring and alien cultures.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Sometimes I write in the middle of the night, but doesn’t everybody.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Andre Norton, James Schmitz, Edgar Wallace, P.G. Wodehouse, Terry Pratchett–and many others.
What are you working on now?
Publishing the novels who are awaiting their turn.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Social media, blogs, writing newsletters, etc.

Sit, stay…
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Keep writing and don’t fret about authors who are so much better than you.

The Chet and Bernie mystery series.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Getting my novels (some are waiting impatiently) published.
