Learn More About The Author
Changing careers from Scientist to Kindergarten Teacher has left me with a passion for teaching science to the young children in my care. Through many trials of what does and does not work, I have discovered the very best experiments to do in class where every child can participate no matter what level they are at. I have done these experiments with thousands of children, all of them enthusiastically loving the process and wanting to do it again for weeks after.
The children will grow in their receptive and expressive communication skills through the introductions on science terminology without any pressure to ‘get it’ right. The experimentation that can occur after reading the book offers teachers and children the opportunity to share in the discoveries, they find increasing their wonderment of science learning. In this second addition, I have added extensions to the learning to support teachers to grow their science teaching understanding. The second book is coming soon!
